What does a family mini session look like?

And the winner of the most giggly kids goes to… Jay and Rachel!!!

This is the first of my blocks of mini sessions this past month. The parents just sat back and let me work my magic. These little ones are two peas in a pod. They don’t miss a beat with each other. Don’t let these two sets of blue eyes fool you because they always had something up their sleeve. We had to get the silly pictures don’t first and then the smiley pictures done second. These types of sessions are always a good time in my book.

I normally dont share this many images on my social media account for one session but I seriously cranked out so much goodness in a fast 20 minute mini session… that I had to share these as a little brag moment.

You know what I love most about family sessions is the realness about them. It is not always perfect but I love all the emotions that come with a family dynamic. I can appreciate the seriousness of a child who hasnt figured me out yet. I also love the pure joy and giggles that I get from my sessions (in fact my cheeks hurt from smiling so much at times!). I love the connections that happen during a session because they are real (and not posed). I always try to squeeze in a few pictures of just Mom and Dad too because this is where it all started.

Do you know what else? This is why you hire a Mom for your family sessions who has toddlers herself and has SEEN IT ALLLLL.

Reach out to me if you would like to be added to my email list to be the first to hear of my mini session dates!!
