Just had a baby and moved into a new home? No problem…

Matt and Paige are two of the most easy-going, low-key people that I have ever met! I met them over a year ago when they booked a couples session with me. They have been married for a few years now and wanted some updated pictures. I almost want to say we talked more than I actually took pictures of them!

Well, fast forward to a few weeks ago when she reached out to me about booking a newborn session. I was thrilled because that meant the absolute best thing ever has come into their lives AND I get to see them again!! She also added that they just moved into their new home a few weeks before their baby came into the world!! There is nothing like squeezing in two pretty big things in life in maybe the first five minutes of our conversation! haha!

We joked about how when you have kids the whole “being a planner” gets thrown out the window. It starts when you have the baby and just keeps going. Baby Sydney did not disappoint and decided to surprise her new parents TWO WEEKS EARLY! Matt and Paige have been on their toes ever since (hello middle of the night parties!). Luckily, Grandma and Grandpa just moved to Greenville SC so they have some family just around the corner. In fact, during Sydney’s arrival both sets of grandparents were in town for a few weeks. So why not include them in a few pictures?!

I had to show off the nursery because I love the green walls and three large wildflower pictures frames. Something about the idea of a little girl and colorful wildflowers just goes hand in hand. The nursery isnt a big room but it’s perfect.

Lastly, I love how the master bedroom was so simplistic in the sense that they didn’t have the time to hang many pictures. I’m more of a less is more kind of girl to begin with but when it comes to my photography, I would rather focus on the connection and love of the subjects rather than the things in the room. So their master bedroom was the perfect set up with some beautiful natural light.

You dont need a house full of perfectly decorated spaces. There is a lot that we can do with a really great window and a plain wall or even sitting on the floor together. Enjoy pictures of this sweet girl. She is absolute perfection. My heart turns into a little puddle of happiness with all of my newborn sessions.
